Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern the provision of IT services by Virtucomp Consulting Services ("Virtucomp", "we", "our", or "us") to our clients ("you" or "the client"). By engaging with our services, you agree to comply with the terms set out below.

Service Availability

Virtucomp provides support and services Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00, excluding public holidays and our annual December shutdown period. Any support requests or changes outside these hours may be deferred or billed at after-hours rates, as per agreement.

Payment Terms

  • Payment terms and pricing are governed by individual service contracts or quotations.

  • Invoices are payable by the due date as stated on the invoice.

  • We accept various payment methods, as specified in our invoicing system.

  • Late payments may result in penalties, interest charges, and/or suspension of services until all dues are settled.

  • Internet and related services may be discontinued if payment is not received by the stipulated due date.

Internet Acceptable Usage Policy

Clients using Internet services provided by Virtucomp agree to use them responsibly and in accordance with South African laws and best practices. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Distribution of malware or spam.

  • Illegal downloads or file sharing.

  • Hosting of unlawful content.

  • Any activity that compromises network integrity or impacts other users.

Virtucomp reserves the right to suspend or terminate services in the event of abuse, or suspected abuse, of Internet resources.

Firewall & Security Policy

To maintain security and service integrity:

  • All firewall changes must be requested via an official helpdesk ticket.

  • Changes will not be made via phone, WhatsApp, or informal communication channels.

  • Turnaround times for firewall changes may vary depending on complexity and workload.

Termination of Services

Virtucomp reserves the right to terminate or suspend services immediately for:

  • Breach of these Terms & Conditions.

  • Non-payment of invoices.

  • Any unlawful or abusive use of our services or infrastructure.

Limitation of Liability

While Virtucomp takes all reasonable precautions to ensure service continuity and data protection, we will not be liable for:

  • Any loss of data, revenue, or business caused by service interruptions.

  • Delays or failures caused by third-party providers or force majeure.

Modification to Terms

Virtucomp reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be published on our official website or sent via official communication channels.
